The Solution
What do I do as a mayfair towers shareholder to make a difference in this election?
If you're not comfortable assigning your vote to the current Board via the proxy form, you still have the right to vote or nominate alternate candidates at the annual meeting.
-
The Mayfair Towers Shareholder meeting is on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue (30 W 68th St. between CPW and Columbus Ave).
If you can attend in person, this gives you the opportunity to vote.
As the meeting gets closer, we will update this section to include more specific details.
-
If you cannot attend the annual shareholders meeting, you can ask to separate your ballot and your proxy. If your request is denied, withhold your proxy unless meaningful reform is enacted so that your voice can be heard.
-
If you are unable to attend the meeting, you do NOT have to fill out the proxy form given by Mayfair Towers Staff. You can actually assign your own proxy votes to a trusted fellow Shareholder by taking the following steps:
Shareholders are given a unique code by the building to vote online during the Annual Shareholders Meeting.
Shareholders can give that code to anyone they trust to vote on their behalf: friend or family in the building or even your neighbor.
As the meeting gets closer, we will update this section to include more step by step instructions.
-
If you’ve already signed and returned your proxy to the Board, you may not be able to vote at the meeting or nominate someone — unless you revoke your proxy first.
You will need to visit the management office in the building to discuss doing so.
-
We all call Mayfair Towers our home and deserve to have a say in how the Building is run. Make sure your neighbors are aware of how their money is being spent and that they have a voice.
